The Cape Egmont Lighthouse sits at the western-most point of Taranaki and still operates today after more than 140 years.

Ōakura is a charming seaside town that bustles all year round, especially in the warm summer months when the beach is a hive of swimmers and the waves perfect for beginner surfers.

Letters Back In Time
